- I bet I'm the only one in this community who still has my original Newton. I carry a Blackberry, and sometimes deny about how I fantasize about toting a cool little iPhone, but not like Flava Flav Harry. No lanyards for me, thanks.

I'm guessing you're like "friend of Harry" he maybe handed off the list of emails he got wishing him well after his last editorial at PC World, where he said he was leaving to "start his own thing," and maybe he couldn't send invites to those folks himself because, well, that would kind of violate a compete contract, or something?
Or maybe you're one of the countless people who have doubtless seen me post on one of literally DOZENS of different forums and Blogs, ranging from gardening and such, to computers, photo, video, or whatever... Or you might even be someone with whom I've emailed??? I have SO MANY online contacts from throughout the years, lol.
At any rate, as I said in my post to Harry, I'm "happy to be here." Don't necessarily expect to see me all the time, as I'm sometimes spread pretty thin, but if you keep me engaged with good links and stuff, I may be, and once in a great while I might even contribute something useful (I hope).
