This month’s TechwiseTV show has some great content about next-generation collaboration technology. It’s all about using technology to save time, money, and sanity. In particular, there’s a great segment showing the new CTS 500 personal telepresence (HD videoconferencing) and two unique things about WebEx:

- the proprietary CDN (MediaTone) that keeps online meetings in sync, regardless of different connection speeds, failing connections, etc

- the WebEx Connect developer platform, which lets developers write collaboration apps that a) are hosted on MediaTone and b) interface easily with other web service API’s.
